Description
I wrote this one a while back but didn't post because i couldn't find a trumpeter. Then one day Steve Hix fell from the sky...a golden gift of brass from the great Macjam-God....aka Loob.
This one's about any of those people you come across who you know will never experience the revelation of change.
Julian Sims - Music, lyrics & vocals.

Lyrics
You take what you want – dip your hands in the font of desire
You say you’re aware and that you really care - you’re a liar
You brim with pride, enjoy the ride
Don’t care which side you satisfy
You’re deaf and you’re blind so it’s not in your mind to confess
That each way you look at it your life’s one horrible mess
You’re wading through the residue
Alluding to a life you knew
You may know that you gotta go
But you should take it all a little slow
And stop living your life in a bubble
You don’t need to cut and hurry
It’s so much nicer not to worry
There’s a light at the end of the trouble
It’s sad but it’s true, you have one narrow view in your world
Too long in the tooth, you can’t handle the truth of your world
The hours fly, you age and die
Not wondering why the years slipped by
There’s a light at the end, at the end of the trouble.
You say you’re aware and that you really care - you’re a liar
You brim with pride, enjoy the ride
Don’t care which side you satisfy
You’re deaf and you’re blind so it’s not in your mind to confess
That each way you look at it your life’s one horrible mess
You’re wading through the residue
Alluding to a life you knew

Too long in the tooth, you can’t handle the truth of your world
