Description
A song with subject matter of a real illness that many of us suffer from: Depression.

Tinkering around with Omnisphere, Trillian and Stylus RMX today I came up with this one.
I hope you enjoy this.

Lyrics
So Dark, So Cold
- Gerald Grech

Listen to your heartbeat
Tune in, to your heart
when the love goes
its time
for close-sure

I hear you crying
I heard your dying
In a room up there
So dark
So cold

Do you question
your very existence
do you value your life
It's a dark world out there
So cold

There comes a point
In our lives
A decision is made
and that can bring you way down.

So, why does it feel so dark
and so cold

It can be dark world
Allow the darkness to comfort you

Are you listening to the ones who care
That your not alone
They're here for you
dont face your world
alone

Its a dark place out there
to behold

Ultravox + Human League + Depeche Mode
Not hard to tell where you influences lie in this one, Garni. This is high 80's style and sound and oh so frakkin' good!

So Dark, So Cold
Great mix. I have now listened to a couple of your tunes now and you have a recognizable style which is quite unique in a dark way. You are influenced by British 80's stuff. This has a great atmosphere you have created with the synth and a cool vocal delivery.

Chiller
Initially a clean, industrial mix that has power, volume and positivity but with the introduction of the higher ranges confusion creeps in. A real head banger with stomach churning vocal style and psycho effects. A very imaginative way to tackle this mortifying affliction.

the mix is mind-grabbing
Love the sparse tune, synths and dark broody singing, but what always gets me is your mixing skills... the bass and percussion seem to fill the audio spectrum, but you've cut out a hole for your vox to cut through like a knife, everything is crisp and clear, something I greatly admire and aspire to. Excellent.

I really do dig your darker tracks. This is fab, great vocals & lyrics. The track picked up and again, it reminded me of an 80's style, which you know I love! Awesome!

hey Dani
Thanks for dropping by and listening/commenting. Unfortunately my dark side stems from depression I suffer from time to time and my only avenue out of it is to either write about it or put it to music, which to me is my FREE therapy and it helps :))
