Description
This is a song we recorded in the early seventies at The Marine Club, Southport Merseyside. I managed to retrieve it from my old reel-to reel tape, though I'm sorry there's about half of the first verse missing. Even so I think it's worth a listen, though you can hear the glasses clinking in the background. We, Keith, Yvonne and myself, used to go in early in order to rehearse and this was one of those occasions when we were preparing for a talent contest.... hope you like this from 1972 when I was 39. That's me hitting all the high notes in the harmony. I did run it through Ozone 3.

It's so nice when you get a chance to revisit the past like this and remember when. It's not often you can recover something as old as this is off an old reel tape and have it sound like anything you would want to play for someone because of tape degradation. But the quality of this recording has stood the test of time, partly from luck, and partly, I'm sure because of Ozone helping you bring it back.
The singing is right in the pocket and you all sound so very good. Kudos for the rendition and the way you sang it, and for allowing us to hear you sing from that time long ago.
Thanks Maurice, I love it.
