clipping, popping
This mix is clipping all over the place. Hear the pops? This should show up as red line in your software meters. It really kills it for me, I couldn't finish the song.

That's as honest as I can get, no insult intended. Please feel free to rip one of my songs apart with critique if you'd like to

This song reminds me of Donovan's Atlantis (I love that song), and this song could use some of that dynamic strategy that Donovan employed in his song Atlantis with a background vocal in another melody and chorus break.

Bublé
I'd love to see Michael Bublé burst. Well explode actually.
Saying bubble burst is very pleasing. I like the tune and the melody. I'm not convinced by your vocal as it hits those higher notes. Needs a bit more conviction maybe. Kinda sounds like you didn't want to disturb your neighbour while recording this. It has potential for sure but at the very least I'd replace the drum track as It seriously lacks life.

	sometimes I do my vocals at night this is true. In this case though I started a bit softly because I see this song as a bit of a folk hymn. A tune that will last
This is a classic in the making. Although it's a very simple production that's no bad thing because the Vocal is King. There are plenty of meaningful lyrics while you kept the chorus singable. When the song bursts into the bridge there is a "Wow" moment for sure. Love the clarity/sincerity of your presentation. A winner for me, definitely. BYW,no clipping that I can detect - Serena (Jaws)

Nice guitar solo during instrumnental section
Very pleasant tune. The electric guitar solo is my favorite part, it truly sings; fab tone and smooth playing. On the critique side, there are times there seem to be too many words, especially leading into phrases, with rush pickup notes. You voice has a Neil Young feel, if you can make your lines shorter so you don't sound rushed, it would help the sense of honest delivery that someone else mentioned.

your lyrics and the vocal delivery are really good...."starts closin in and the air get's thin" very clever.....very catchy. your vocal's very forward in the mix though - too much for my liking. the chorus might have benefitted from some vocal layering and/or harmonies because if you're just repeating the same line then yes....it can get repetitive on the ear. a simple harmony line (female) would have given it just enough contrast while maintaining the simplicity of it all.
i didn't like the drum fill-in and flourish into the second verse. it was purely the choice...not the execution.....just seemed a bit clunky.
oh right here we are for harmonies on the second chorus (listening while writing)....and you've got some nice echo delay thing going on with the guitars.....nice. again, your lyrics are really clever...internal rhymes....i love internal rhymes...yours are truly outstanding.
you hint at letting it all out on 'sad sight to see' but you allude to it without going there. it was like you changed your mind.....but you know what - it's interesting....and i like it.....keeps the listener from expectation from fulfilment.
the guitar break is clean and expertly performed. personally i find guitar breaks a bit formulaic.....but given the emo vocal style (which i love), it doesn't drag the piece down to the blandness of so much soft rock pop. i thought the final chorus needed some dynamic variation....otherwise it's just like the first....and i'm a fickle listener. you delay the final guitar chord for almost half a second. i like that.....and i laughed at the little cymbal taps at the end. it's like "hey, are you still with me?" yes, i'm still with you. i like this track - it's got some really classy elements and you clearly know how to write really smart lyrics. i look forward to more.

thank you for taking the time and energy to do this, it was greatly appreciated!! My vocals don't usually get described as emo but I think I like it. :) Probably if I had produced this completely myself I would've added strings in the last verse, it's kind of a stark song though, hard to say if that would've been too much. Anyway I can tell you got the lyrics, it's one of my sadder songs.
