Description

As I get older time seems to fly by, yesterday I was a fresh faced kid wanting to be a successful musician, and today I'm an old musician who does not give a damn about fame or fortune or success. I would ask God for more time to complete the mission, if I had a mission to complete which of course I don't. So I sit and play and time passes... nothing else really matters...

Today June 28th is the 1 year anniversary of the passing of Fatchance (Geo) since Georges death I myself have had health issues which were life threatening when that happens to you your perspective changes, things that were very important not so long ago fade into the past, all of a sudden you feel very mortal, all of a sudden you see that there is a beginning,middle and END..

Perspective and dimension
First off, dynamic song art. That and the ticking really got my interest. Very pretty and intimate sound, delicate and somehow wrung through a tiny portal that slightly twists the sounds into an altered dimension, like you were playing with pitch or something. Very interesting feel. I also like how the ticking isn't metronomic. Like counterpoint, just missing. Like so much of living.

I too have had health issues that have changed my perspective. And so many friends have left, in different ways. This is a wonderful homage to it. Silent crying wrung into music.

Time Passes
I'm on the same page, totally. Slipping health has a way of putting a whole new spin on things. I've had my own health stresses recently and I have to say, this song is just what the doctor ordered. I would have faded the ticking clock in and out, so it didn't interfere when it didn't synch up with the pickin', found it just a tad distracting. But that's a small quibble. Lovely.
