At first we were like 'oh shit can't use this version because of the truck' but then after listening to it, we really liked it. fits the mood of loneliness, life driving by you, every day life happening around her as she's wishing for something more meaningful. John Prine John Prine was one of my coffee house folk heroes in my college days. Thanks for bringing back those days. Btw, if you are recording the rhythm guitar on a separate track than your vocals, consider adding an exciter and EQing it a tad bright, like the lead. Nice song art, did you draw it? Fitting. A very good song about life.... Something 5 out of 10 people has felt on your street alone or something close, these type of songs are what hits are made of.... Great vocals at time a little to close to the Mic but it has style and individuality your not trying to sing like anyone else, that's a plus..... Very nicely done...... I always liked this song and I think you did it justice here. Nice vocals and harmonies. The acoustic guitar gives it an intimate live feel.
