Description:
this is a collaboration funk tune. I created most of the grooves and TobinMueller did the organ, intro, and last 1:20 vamp and ending. We want someone to lay down a sax to it. Woody mankowski obliged, under Tobin's direction, and the ersult can be heard as TM's "Windowshade": http://www.macjams.com/song/song_profile.php?lid=2726

Personally, I think your bass, or your drums, the
theme that continues through 90% of the of the song
is too deep. But other than that, when you add the
soloist it could be a very, very good song!

I'll take a Chocolate Groove Shake, Extra Thick!
Man, those organ flourishes are a trip. Someone please add the horns!! This is such a fat goove, I cant see how anyone wouldn't just jump at this. Maybe I'll take a swing at it on guitar...

The organ is WILD!. That Leslie is just so perfect. If I am completely honest I
have to agree with a previous thread that the groove itself is a bit thin, but
that could be because the organ is just so great. Dunno. Anyway, all in all a
great track.

I Agree
Mullets do indeed rock! So does this song even without the
sax. But if you do put one in there, man would it ever be a
sweet tune to just cruise with the top down in an Old Galaxie
500 convertable on a sunny day. The organ sound is so
viscous. I love it.

very
strange artwork, but then again I supose surreallism is quite
apt for this track. I think Tobin Mueller has added some very
nice incidentals and the saxaphone is vey nice. Whenyou say
you created the groove, did you use some apple loops? or
are you playing an instrument. Garage band is such a great
application for us beginners.
I think its good that some people wanted to work with you,
it makes a song much more interesting.

mullets making a comeback
That bass is just so phat! and the rest of the instrumentation is tasty as
well. Of course my favorite part is the B3 work. is that Tobin? Well done
sir...I want one of those. LOVE the artwork
