Err.. yes, this is just one of those back to my roots happy tunes, ya know. Dropped C. Got to hand it to those U.S metal bands like Sevendust, HED pe and Stuck Mojo for this sound. One day I will grow out of it? ha! Anyway, so the strat is down, I dusted off the Yamio and with shagged out strings I wasted a week jamming 3 riffs, then thought I would badly string them together and call it a song? I borrowed my neighbors bass which I had to sellotape the wires to the jack in order for it to work and even then it would only work whilst played at a certain angle, not really very heavy metal style if you had witnessed it. It made for playing, interesting to say the least. The misses said it was a happy departure from my "artsy farty stuff," so you can take the piss now too, if you wish.
