Must be so much fun... to play music like that in your basement! I'm a big fan of Flook (Brian Finnegan is a genius) and enjoy Irish or Celtic influences whenver I hear them - it's that joyful energy that always gets me in good ways more than one:) This track is no exception - did you record this live or musicians separately? Timing, recording quality, mix and the intensity in your performance is excellent! Including the solo. Drums almost sound too good to be real! I wasn't sure if the voice couldn't be recorded better - sounds just a bit thin, which is 100% a recording issue, the mic doesn't seem to do justice to your performance. thanks! We recorded this tune with individual tracks,using garageband. It was our first recording as a band,and as well using the mac program. Vocals/accordion/and Guitar were done with an Audio technica AT3035 condensor Mic. Bass and Drums plugged directly into my M-Audio fast Track interface. The drums were recorded on a roland electronic set,i am not surre exactly what model,but they sure sound nice!also very convenient for late night jams because of volume control ;). Still in the experimental stages,more recordings to come within the next few weeks! So glad we found this website.Great place for musicians. Check out my latest song called Christmas in Killarney

uptempo Certainly a song that you can't sit still with. I enjoyed the energy of this tune. The mix sounds pretty good, but the vocal can use some processing with EQ/compression.
