Description
A collaboration with my cousin... He's actually singing the verse in this one, I mostly helped him produce it and do the bass line, and sang in the chorus.

Lo fi
... it's very linear, especially with that very level clicky
drum track, but to my ears that's an asset. Your words are
great. The synth drives me a bit nuts though...

nice writing
I think you've written a grat song here. I like the simple arrangement and your voice a lot, but it sounds like it could use some tightening up in places and some adjustments on the mix levels and tone. In a couple of places you seem to stumble a little, cramming the words in there. I think the lyrics are great; you just need to find the right delivery for them in a few places. The chorus really fills out nicely. The synth part is nice in concept, but is a bit off tempo, and may be better with a more acoustic or organic sound than you're using.

Really nice tune though. Post the lyrics and some song art. It always helps to fill out the description to let us know more about your process and inspiration.
