Description
Chunky and a bit clunky. I put this together in tiny bits and pieces over a couple of weeks. I'd like to give it another shot, sometime. But here's a preview anyhow!

Enjoy!

Lyrics
Now listen
She knows where to go
She makes me glad
Takes my hand
Oh, on my way

Now she's mad
No, She's not mad
She states fact
as I lack
Oh, on my way

She lifts me up
Now I'm on my own
I'm home

She sits aside
I go inside
Long gone
This listless life
Just one less strife
Oh, on my way

Chunky & Clunky
but still very funky! Very quirky and I most enjoyed your personable (and stylish--loved the opening there) free-form kind of mantra vocal on this; gives it this certain edge/mood that's hard for me to articulate. An excellent preview!

Thanks Michael!
Glad you like it! This is absolutely rough... but then again. It might give it a sense of purpose.

cool
i always like your stuff, always on the outside edge of the spectrum (i can appreciate that). love the sparse arrangement and the vocals; i can imagine seeing this live. great track man.

Hey Michael!
Yeah, my schedule didn't allow for much more. Sometimes you just have to submit it, ready or not. Funny, I imagined a live performance, when I recorded it!

Thanks for stopping!

I like the early new wave vibe and punky edge. Like an early Joe Jackson song sung by Bowie!

very cool vocal effect, and i like the choppy guitar style in GPS. the starkness itself sets the song's mood. one thing i can say about your tunes that's fairly consistent: they have an atmosphere.

Nice and tasty
Could this be the first love song to the voice on the GPS? An old school lick that doesn't seem dull and dated Nice job..

Warm mix ... love that opening guitar tone and the choppy feel to it. Great vocals. I think I like the simplicity of the instrumentation. It helps that quirky vocal track stand out. Would have loved to hear a guitar break but hey it's cool the way it is.

Yes
Firstly, thanks. Also, I also thought about a guitar break as well as a bridge. Something disjointed, perhaps or really growly. If you ever wanted to give it a shot. I'd like to readdress this one, one way or another...

I love how you
sing, sir! For reasons I cannot explain, you remind me of John Lennon a bit... inspiring great work!
