Lyrics
When the sun went down last night
I cried out to the moon yeah
There's nothing left for me to say

Can't get enough happiness
All I want from you is your sweet caress

In my mind

When I'm old and when I'm grey
I cry out to the moon yeah
There's nothing left for me to say

If a dark and stormy sea
Comes around you know it's me

In my mind

Cry Of The Whale
This is outstanding! Great song and excellent vocal!

The spacious intro is beautiful and the guitar improv during the intro is tasteful and sets the tone for the ride the listener is about to take.

I love the groove change at the verse! The song just lifts off there! All the instruments sound great! But you are at your grooving best on drums! And the drum sound is pristine! The whole mix is pro all the way!

Downloaded!

Impressive
Love the groove this sits in. The guitar playing is exceptional - so interesting and skilfully played. The drums are rich and support the song perfectly - sit there when needed, fill when there's space, and what's played is worth listening to just on its own! Interesting lyrics that have something to say and heartfelt vocal. Downloaded!

Echoes
Can only echo what has already been said, guys. Sounds so well put together. Good as anything in terms of production/balance.

Title threw me a bit. Are you trying to lose weight? ;-)

Nice one, lads.

Yes I am, but I didn't write the song Marc
Alan did. I think he is writing in metephors. Maybe about his thoughts on the endangered animals? Your guess is as good as mine.

Cry Of The Whale
Freddy ... this is such a well done tune. There is a lot of nice air in the intro and I really love the guitar parts... sweet lead tone. Your drumming is at it's finest! Well constructed percussion and I love when you ride that bell man!! Very creative playing. Pro mix.

Hi Alan and Freddy. The quality of the mix and the guitar work is evident from the first couple of bars. Really like this. The mood the song develops is outstanding and the lyrics and vocal work are first class. Love your drums on this Freddy, too. The guitar tone is just fantastic as well. Auto D/L. Thanks, Peter.

This has a nice ebb and flow to it.I was sort of expecting an acoustic guitar lead break, but the jazz electric style works even better.Excellent percussion and mix also Freddy.
