Lyrics
burnt out memory

you could have been so special
but your pride got in the way
now your love is just a burnt out memory
everything will come back to haunt you
in it's own special way
now your love is just a burnt out memory

i would try and hold you
but you push my love away
you say our loves all wrong
i would try to love you
but now it fades away
i say our loves all gone

don't want to see the future
i throw away my crystal ball
i don't want to see the misery and pain
worry whats your hurry there is nothing here to see
just another burnt out memory

Well
like all of your stuff Mark I really like this. You have such a cool vocal in all of your tracks... Really cool.

Keep 'em coming. I have an iTunes 80sboy playlist... Plenty of disk space left too!

It does have the petshop feel to it. You don't happen to be using the DX7? I would love to find out what vintage syths you are using. Great song-very danceable. I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks for sharing,
patty

Synthly great!
Oh yes, definitely Pet Shop Boys! Sounds great, love the rhythm, especially the undulating bass riff.

Tempo Plus
I love the speed that this song is set at. Great sounds and the vocals are perfect for the song style. I do wish the bass was a bit louder in the mix, but I understand that this style of music isn't focused on earth shaking bass tones . . . Still, what would happen if this song was amped up to rave standards of volume?
Would be a fun experiment. Anyway, tasty melodies and smooth listening.

Man, again......
Just top-notch 80's retro. Nice to have a place where I can come to get that fix reliably without dragging out the old cassettes!
