Love this tune and the balls to wall arrangement! The quality of these live recordings just gets better. Great separation between the guitar and hammond. The drum sound is awesome.

When I used to play...
sax in a band many moons ago, there was nothing I liked better than taking a song and having a jam. This is alive, full of the kind of coordination between instruments that you only find in a band that has played together for a while. Dang... good!

Play this LOUD!
Not bad for a bunch of old guys :-) Love the intro. This jam cried out to be turned up real loud and boy did it repay in spades. Great sound you are getting with the production, Fran. The flute and drums both had an immediacy that was very impressive. In fact all the instruments did. Fantastic harmonica/flute interplay. Thanks for the post! Regards, Peter.

Jam
Not old at all, just mature! Which comes across in your playing ie. Cool, confident and relaxed, like you all really know what you are doing, and having fun doing it.

Listening over speakers...
...and this has really noticeable stereo spread...a real soundstage goin' on..I'm sitting near the right speaker and I can clearly hear the different stuff happening in the left speaker...

All the instruments sound great, to me.

Seems like you're getting better and better at the live recording thing...

cool
stuff indeed, love how the guitar cooks right off the bat. Sounds like the hottest band around. Sounds like you guys should be opening up for either Jimmy Kimmel or Jay Leno. THAT GOOD !

And a fine, fun time was had by all!
D*mn you man; every time you post one of these I get sorry all over again that I'm too far away to drop in on Tuesday nights. Those (few) people who show up regularly are smart/lucky SOBs. Everyone is groovin': really nice playing, captured very well. I'm taking a copy to tide me over 'til your CD is released.
