Description
I have always loved this song, but alas, the only baby I walk home these days is my dog Farina when I take him out on our nightly prowls about the neighborhood and the little nature park nearby.
I'm nearly certain I've committed mix suicide by channeling this thing and other odds and ends (was going to advertise this under the attention-grabbing banner "Puts YOU in the Audience!!" or "Puts YOU Out of Sorts!") but yanno, you learn from your mistakes (of which this is the LEAST of them, let me tell you!)
Thanks for listening,
Michael
"Walking My Baby Back Home" was written by Roy Turk and Fred E. Ahlert, 1929 (PD)
Arrangement and accompaniment performed by Alan McPike
Vocal: The Whispering Bimbo
Artwork: Farina (And by the by: is it me or doesn't he resemble that old gangster movie actor, George Raft?)

Brings back memories of the many times I've played this one - used to be part of a Barn Dance sequence a band I worked with did! Your expressiveness shines through. Vocal perfectly suited to the style of the song. Also, I like Alan McPike's work - his backing tracks have character.
