Very nicely done
The cover-art picture that you selected goes very well with this piece. I do enjoy (pardon me for abusing the terminology here) "tone poems" that state one musical idea, repeat that idea in a deliberately repetitive but unobtrusive fashion, and then explore other ideas around it without stepping-on the main theme. You did this very nicely indeed.

Thank you!
It was my thought process, as an ambient piece, to work on tones and timbres more than melodies, and I'm glad you liked it.
The cover art was an accident! :P
Thank you.

Listen to...
The original track Clouds by Gigi Masin, It's In Our Hands by Bjork, Die Dinge Des Lebens by To Rococo Rot, and Latitude by Nujabes for more uses of the same loop :P

:)
Nice work! It glides very smoothly, yet stays interesting enough that you can’t just tune it out.

Hi Sean.....
I'm glad I stopped by to listen. An Ambient mix will always get my attention. This mix has elements of Ambient but, as you state yourself, it has elements of Dance and other electronica within the soundscape to keep it company.

The way you've put this together kept me interested from the get go until the end. Neat.

I look forward to more of your mixes here on Macjams.

Take care.

Paul

Thanks :)
I had a hard time picking just one genre for it, so I just went for ambient which was my original intent. Thanks for your kind words!

Very cool
You've picked some great loops and synths. The whole thing sounds great, and despite obvious repetitions isn't boring for a second.

I could almost see
a face pressed up against a car's back window as the car speeds away to a less welcoming place. What a really nice mix you made. Thank you.
