Description

My Prelude and Fugue (for string quartet) composed and recorded just this week. Always appreciate your comments and suggestions. (Sorry about the 6 1/2 minutes of silence at the end of my 3 minute piece - I hope to resubmit shortly with this corrected!)

Prelude and Fugue
I m glad I came across this piece ,I m very impressed by the Cello on the prelude ,Its so
impressive to hear a modern Fugue .you put a lot
of dynamics ..wonderful ..cos :you left huge empty space at the end of the piece ,I wonder if you add a compression ? cos the viola has a very synth edge to my ear unlike the cello ,maybe you need to increase the attack ? velocity?I have no idea I never worked with Ozone but I think they all share the same method ..well done Sir the writing is fabulous a real well crafted piece

Modern fugue
The fugue is fabulous. The depth and warmth of the instruments, in and of itself, is moving. Great sound. The differing colors add to the composed variations. Thanks for sharing this.

I think there is a ton of silence stuck on the end of this track. Or else my computer was acting up. If it is silence, consider editing it out and resubmitting? Thanks.

	fugato? Very nice use of classical idiom with occasional modern touches. I'm trying to follow the structure of the fugue. There is the first bunch of theme entries, and then some (incomplete?) themes, with pizz runs and such under it, and then, eh, a short chordal passage. That makes it more like a fugato, right?
