Our last night together ... remix I remember listening to her version a week or so ago and being intrigued by her vocals. What you did with the bottom synth really improves this. The whole mix sounds fantastic. I think this is radio ready. Did you add the piano at about 3:05? Don't believe that was in the original... it's a nice touch. Great job! dreamy great voice and enveloping sound through out with a bitter sweet feel. could see it exploding into something more intense/different right after that lovely piano and where the layered vox enter around 3:03...like the fireworks at the end of a celebration. very enjoyable listen. nice bass work Bouncy... nice re-enveloping of Jess's singing. The short Vincent Anthony Guaraldi piano bit was... too short, and could have been re-introduced as a quiet reverbed shadow a few more places, a bit of pattern on the wallpaper of the room you have painted here. This is what's right at MJ Looking at the comments on CrazeeFlootGrrl's original song, there are constructive suggestions along with the appreciation of her beautiful voice and melody. Vic has taken the song and added his own backing, but also addressed some of the suggestions, such as raising the vocal in the mix. His piano break is a different way to add more of a dramatic arc to the song. Nice. I'll remember that. My only remaining nit is I can't hear the lyrics. The autotune / vocoder processing has mushed the consonants so badly that the lovely poem would have been lost if Jessica hadn't published it. I love both backing tracks, but give the nod to Vic's bass and drive, and of course the piano solo. And Jessica, leave a bit of the dry vocal in the mix so we old farts can understand your lyric. Really, really good pop Some spots, mostly verses.. I thought the vocals could have come up even more- the bouncy L/R bass synth seemed (nice as it is) seemed to dominate a little too much. My only nit in a fabulous collaboration result. Check out my latest song called Anyway

WOW I never heard the song however from what I hear from you and I play this song in my monitors that bass was banging so you got my attention so I listen and if that is you that did the piano solo that was cool, so you might have to do more remixes.I've also saw the video of you at a Tv station and that was very different because I didnot know that style of music was still being played however it was authentic and rich of a culture that was almost forgotten until I heard you.Thank you for allowing me to hear your world it shows that this place macjams is a wonderful place to meet different styles of people and music.Keep havin fun in what you do.Have a happy holiday Check out my latest song called Let's Dance (in the spotlight)
