Lyrics
Feeling the heat on an August afternoon, retreating to the room using bottled water.
(Don't use the tap cos your hair will all fall out)
In my kitchen, we serve a mean P.G in pyramid bags. I'll make one for you.
(Have a sit down. I'll put the kettle on)
In the middle of a hot day, only one thing will cool me down. It's tea.
What's that, luv? Your house is burning to the ground? I'll tell you now, it will all be sound. Come on in to the lounge.
(Put your feet up. I'll put the kettle on)
Say again, mate. You've not that long to live? Try a custard cream or a digestive.
(I'll make a cup of tea. Go put the telly on)
In the middle of a crisis, only one thing will cool me down. It's tea.
(I'll make a cup of tea. Go put the telly on)
(Have a biscuit and put some "Neighbours" on)
...No sugar...

Tea....
that is actually the Elixir of Life ....done the proper way in a brown pot ....tea leaves not bags ......and chipped mugs with a splash of milk afterward........none of this fannying about with brushes and whisks and spinning handleless cups...naaaaahh....proper tea like a proper song ...like this one ....probably one of my faves of yours .....grindingly relentless beat and loads of oomph! Proper!

Be Lucky

This is getting back to your classic STE sound. I still think this is where you shine the brightest. Love the surfer rock laid back vibe. Excellent song. One of my faves you have posted in a while.

Kitchen Genre
Another kitchen etiquete tune that I am pleased to hear as I need instruction in this area. Like the repeating lines (put the kettle on).

i tried to like tea but it didn't take
but this tune is eccentric and antsy, just like always. maybe it's the tea. love the break and the little descending lead riff. nice guitar work all around.

Radiation Poisoning
"Feeling the heat"

Killer guitar riffage. Kinda dark and heavy. Didja buy a RAT pedal or something? I'd like to know the secret to that sound. I like the meatiness when it steeps.

Your vocals are always great, but I really like your back up vocals, the way they come in and the contrasting and comforting lyrics. I can imagine you being a most gracious host during the recent events in Japan. The roof caves in and flames surround your guests, but you reassure them that a sweet treat will satisfy, and they oblige.

If we have a hurricane this season, you're welcome to come to Florida for some gator fritters and rum drinks!

Thanks for the download. I was number 10!!

sugar?
Another slice of life in modern Japan. Things must be rough there. Driving beat, sardonic lyrics. I like that descending guitar phrase.

Sugar?
Nice track and darkness here, makes me think of early Cure. Cool guitar riff and I love the swelling sound at the end for example (how do you do that anyway?)

...
Dig everything about this track. Dig the guitar riffage and the punk rhythm section. Nice change-up in the middle. I actually think we have enough of a culture barrier to where I haven't got a clue what you are singing about on this song, but somehow I still dig it.
