Description
I believe that a good song can be made with just using the loops (either made with Garage Band or myself). This is my first attempt. Don't know if this falls under Pop or Jazz so I placed it under Other.

Solid. An easy good listen!
I didn't mean to incite another restless debate about using
loops versus not using loops. I also said in my
description something to the effect that using loops could
even be harder for a composer to do in certain cases. I
just thought that to show my respect for both loop and
non-based music, I would listen up and tell ya my
thoughts.

Great song. Good old Latin Horn Stabs!!! They done
stabbed me too many times though, cause I can't take any
more of them. Really though this tune, from my miniscule
perspective, was solid, pleasing to the ear, and an easy to
enjoy listen. I think that you could do a little more with
the bass line to make it more funky though. And more
dynamics throughout. But these are things i must work
on in my own stuff as well.

So goes to show.......loop based or non loop-based. It is
still good music.

Sincerely,
MidiMacMan.

I know... didn't mean for you to think that you incited it. The original idea for
pushing the 'Loop' was from a voting question here on MacJams.

Thanks. I'll play with the bass a bit more... I know what you mean about the
horns. I personally don't like them either BUT it's because I don't care for
them that I challenged myself to TRY to make them sound good.

Thanks for listening.

Nice
Nice use of the horns. I personally don't like those latin
horns but you have used them very creatively here. Easy to
listen to.

drum/synth/horns
started out kinda sinister.. then the horns kicked in. has a
pretty nice upbeat sound to it. i would like to hear more of
the other instruments taking off on their own to round
everything out-i think the sound would evolve. the horns
are just so dominant. you did a great job of putting this
together

Thanks for the nice comments.
This song started out because I kept reading 'Loop' vs. 'No-Loop' threads
everywhere on this site.
I never really played with Garageband's loops before and thought it would be
a nice challenge.
Listening to it again, I can see where I could have done a lot more...I'll
see what I can do about 'solos' but still keeping the integrity of 'Loop Only'---
