It must be my old, and quickly failing, ears but I couldn't figure out the background noises. I'm not sure if they were for texture or meaning. (Or maybe just the kids playing while you were recording ;-) Whatever, the rocker is rocking, and your voice sits well in the mix (I think). Check out my latest song called Caledonia

very cool I really like the thick low end on this one, which lends an almost "sludge metal" sound a la the Melvins in spots... the layers of weirdness provide the requisite psychedelic ambience.. vocals sound great.. nice post!! Check out my latest song called Someone Else's Thing

Hey this was awesome. Great mix. It's got effects but you can actually tell what you're listening to. That little voice thing in the background is freaky. sounds like it could be something .... With a little cleaner mix, just to give thing a bit more definition.... Can't really tell what's coming or going, distortion works really well when it is under control it's not really good for hiding stuff, the harmonics in distortion won't let you....... even if it is Unusual.....
