Description
So this is an epic/adventure bit of orchestral music. Lots of brass, and lots of fun. :)
This piece was really an experiment for me to see how fast I could write a decent sounding piece of music. Kind of as a way to see how best I can use the tools I have. I ended up making this in 6 hours, and given that, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I orchestrated more which I think gives it a more 'full' sound, and spent more time on the expressiveness with modulation and expression. I could go back and really be detailed about it, but it's amazing how a little can go a long way to create realism. I'm a little unsure about the rhythms I have happening in the b section.. I'll have to listen with 'fresh ears' in the future.
