Minimalist Narad is full blown piece from anyone else ;-) Still, this is fabulous, and definitely one of your best - which isn't saying a little. Quite epic in scope and excellent in composition and mix, fits the subject matter beautifully. Take away the rather insistent baseline in the first half and you have something very close to the best of Vangelis, which is very good in my book. Worthy of Expansion Very nicely done, Harald. The layering of sounds is exquisite and enticing and the theme definitely deserves to expand out into a broader work that captures the range of emotions that surround both Love and Death. Almost cinematic Rain, night streets with the couple separating to go their own ways. It is a great pattern to build upon. I can hear the melancholy clearly, especially when you simplify the orchestration at the 3 1/2 minute mark.
