me and you Really like the dreamy guitars and the simplicity of the beds. At about 3:12 when the drum changes with that light ride cymbal ... nice. This needs no work and I like it ... lots! Now this is a co-inka-dink... Tim, I had this very vivid dream that took place in India, where I played piano in an ice cream parlor (!!!) Anyway, this is the first song I picked to listen to, and it has a very Middle Eastern flavor (this could have been my "dream score"! This is one of those pieces by you that that stereo was created for, with all those fine little touches augmenting a very well crafted production. This kind of reminds me of a bolero in how it repeats it's motif but adding ever so slightly as it moves along. The ending was very cool incidentally! Great flow Hi Tim. I find this piece more accessible (to me, anyway) than some of your other work. Like the mellow theme and all the bits and pieces that intersect with it. me and you You worked some magic here. Some parts could be smoothed a bit, but it has personality the way it is. Sounds spontaneous. Excellent chord changes in there. You have a way of not over-emphasizing changes -- things I would sit on and try to drive home. You're fluid --- yeah, that's the word I was looking for. One of your best. Must have lyrics. Hmm Not sure how to explain the feel of this song. Maybe like listening to someone punching a iron skillet while you're suffering from concussion symptoms and the flesh-on-metal sound is resonating in your head. Does that make sense? Mellow-er you? Not at all disappointed with this wonderful track. It has a quality about it that draws me in from measure to measure and, as MJKlein said above, it has somewhat of a eastern-sounding bolero effect with all the layers added one upon the other in a fairly elegant fashion. Lots of little licks here and there that I only caught on a second listening— nice. As in some of your other things, I don't "get" the vocals, but maybe that's not at all the point of the piece. In any event, I enjoyed your unique style, here somewhat mellow-er than I've heard it before. Check out my latest song called I Speak Of Love

you lay down a wicked theme, as usual, and all the little bits, bobs, and stylish changes work so well around it. Some of those string scratches are pretty piercing, though. Otherwise, this is intensely cool, love your layering and fx! Love the abrupt ending with the grainy-watery chattering, it works really well.
