Description

I wrote this song five or six years ago and only did a crappy version with limited vocal range and no lyrics. With Lori's help on vocals and lyrics the song is 100% better. I still need to learn more mastering tricks...

MASTERING TRICK #1
I'VE Found:
Get down the Best Mix possible - no Master Bus Limiter, no Overs. Bounce to Stereo, two track.

Have someone else, who's ear you trust, do the Master (DiskMaster, etc.), there are lots available. A few Bucks, but done on good, analog equipment and well worth it (unless you've spent the money on the Gear and the balanced room necessary to actually Master tracks.

Like good Mixing, Mastering is, yet another art form, beyond good Musicianship. The mix is pretty well covered in Izhaki's "MIXING AUDIO" (Amazon).

The Song, however, is a Finger Popper.
