Description
I wrote this song five or six years ago and only did a crappy version with limited vocal range and no lyrics. With Lori's help on vocals and lyrics the song is 100% better. I still need to learn more mastering tricks...

Lyrics
I can’t believe it
Why can’t you see it
Wishing it all away....
Just for ....today….

So good to see you
I must be leaving
Something's come over me...
Can't.....explain.....

CHORUS
Why do I feel like I’m still fighting in a feud
Why do I feel like I’m still changing the world alone…

Waiting at red lights
Sitting at green lights
Watching it all go by..
Time goes by....

Nothing to say now
Make it up somehow
See you tomorrow at three...
It's only.....me.....

CHORUS

SOLO
REPEAT 1ST VERSE
CHORUS
Moodiness is nothing new to me….X4

Live
This sounds so like a band jamming live. What a fresh vibe. You put here many of the things I love from the 60's. Those drums are a time machine, literally. Really nicely done!

Nice
The drums are kicking the harmony forward that the two of you are so nicely bringing forth. integration of musical elements nicely arranged.

snare
I thought the snare could have come up some. But I used (for the first time in a long time) a drum loop.
I guess I need to learnt to eq it better. We are working on harmonies all the time. Sometimes even live!
Thanks for the stop and comments.

Its ....
Its what we went for....Dont understand trends all that much I think if its a well written song it don't matter retro or even the newness... But it could be that when I posted this I had a few drinks.. no really I don't even listen to the radio anymore. but thanks for the listen and comment!

I like the 60s vibe. The reverb drenched rhythm guitar stabs and solo scream Beatles, as does the minor chord in the progression. Nice production and mix.

Moodiness..
Luv the interval of the harmony notes on vocals..most excellent work on a tricky transition..the canvas is a perfect ride for the vocals, mix is up-front and solid..you would probably have some real fun with a doubler, a limiter, and some verb for extra sparkles to this gemstone...:):)peace

MASTERING TRICK #1
I'VE Found:
Get down the Best Mix possible - no Master Bus Limiter, no Overs. Bounce to Stereo, two track.

Have someone else, who's ear you trust, do the Master (DiskMaster, etc.), there are lots available. A few Bucks, but done on good, analog equipment and well worth it (unless you've spent the money on the Gear and the balanced room necessary to actually Master tracks.

Like good Mixing, Mastering is, yet another art form, beyond good Musicianship. The mix is pretty well covered in Izhaki's "MIXING AUDIO" (Amazon).

The Song, however, is a Finger Popper.
