Description
Another one of my weird songs :)
I've hardly ever done this, but I wrote the words while I was on a bus in the middle of bum f**k Germany. My battery went dead in my iPod and the scenery wasn't really anything to look at, so I decided to jot down some words. Now the first verse sort of makes sense, but the tune took a different direction.
Hope you enjoy,
LL

Lyrics
Song of X
Setting seems unknown
With no direction home
Details growing vague
Senses going away
Visions I cannot see
Fading gradually
Time’s been moving so fast
But it’s not gonna’ last
Too many times I’ve spent the day here
Resting my mind
Too many times I’ve broken tradition
And risking my life
It doesn’t suit my bones
Driving in control
Places left unseen
I’ve never been so free
Visions I cannot see
Fading gradually
Time’s been moving so fast
But it’s not gonna’ last
The door is a little bit open
But you can’t come in
What’s all this noise and commotion?
You can’t lose when you win

I really like this one. It has that 60s vibe that so many of your tracks have. The vocals, lyrics, progressions, and rhythm guitar sounds really harken back to the British invasion. Nice clear mix too!
