Here's another excerpt from one of our 'Beardsmen' jams. This is a little ditty my cousin had in his back pocket. He plays the first 1:30 of rhythm and after that we exchange back and forth. Steven came up with the riff and we jammed on it for a bit and then I ran and grabbed the H2 to record it. I wanted to remember it for future use in the set list.
I kinda picture a female singer like the lady from The Dead Weather screeching over this. I think the direction of the band is changing a bit from the jazz/jam duo to some groovey/sludgey rock, but I kinda like it.
Just wanted to share and get opinions on the direction the band is taking. I think I need to do a bit more work on getting my guitar to sound a bit more mean and nasty, so if anyone has ideas, lemme know. Right now it's a Swollen Pickle Fuzz pedal and some delay and a flanger run split to two amps. I'm thinking of adding my OD pedal back into the mix to see if that does the trick. Steven uses a wah pedal and I think that helps a lot, I might try that too.
Guitars: Steven DeZort, Brian Bondietti, Drums: Desmond Bird
I've been been too busy with other things to pay back listens for comments, but I promise I'll get back to all the people who comment. Thanks for listening.

I'm having it with my toast this morning. No comment on the band's direction though, nor on how mean and nasty your guitar should be ;-)
