Description

Merry Christmas! I made something for ya...
This one started out as material for a project. I was going to attempt to put together another virtual band.
I could not get authorization for the new entity here at MJ. Imagine that.. you can hear what it might have sounded like though, I just jammed the guitars and organ on here. One pass each, left in the mistakes.

Merry Christmas Stan
There mistakes, yes, but not regrets! The bass tone has three components. I wrote the lines on my #1 bass. That is converted to midi in Melodyne. I mixed the huge tone from #1, a heavily altered Ibanez EX bass from the 80s, with synth bass tones. The bass resolves the dissonance, it's color management. If that makes sense. Check out the four big horn sections here. Each one is unique. The chords don't make sense, the horns have bizarre voices and there is that monster bass holding all that crazy tension together until the sparkle synth riff resolution.
