Description

An expanded version of Child's Play

Another in my "Loop Only" series. This one uses only drum loops (but you wouldn't know it if you heard it). I changed the voice on the drums. Give it a listen.

	All Drums....? Cool synth sounds and was surprised by the slap bass. Neat tune. I liked the way you manipulated them into other sounds. This is coming from someone that prefers live instruments to loops also... but has to rely on loops as well. Nice job! Check out my latest song called Ballad of The Little Tiki

Yep, All Drums
I'm amazed more folks don't do this ... or maybe they do.
;)
I have found it best to apply this technique to Dance
Tunes. For example, Hat for A Wife
many synth parts consists of drum loops I tweaked to
change the instrument and pitch and effects, but the beat
and midi velocity remain the same.
It's not all loops, but the loops give the tune its insistent
beat, even if that beat isn't being driven by a drum sound.

	Well Done Thank you. It's amazing. Before MacJams, I was happy with the sounds I was making. An occasional loop here and there. Mostly just my friend and I, jamming long distance, with keyboard and drum machine. But putting loops together opens up a whole new world...
