Description

I have been working with this one for the last couple of weeks, then lost most of it with a "Circular Structure" error when adding some midi keyboards. Half the tracks now have this reverse echo thing. The weird thing is that if I go back to previous versions of the song I still get the error. Disheartening, because I was really digging the buildup in the outro.

Anybody get that error before and know any tricks to resolve it? Right now I am resigned to moving on to the next song, and I'll probably retire the midi aspirations.

This version is the latest decent sounding mp3 I could dig up.

That's fantastic!
Really nice song and great singing too - touch of the Dave Grohls there if I'm not mistaken. I've never heard of a circular structure error!! but other people have:

	Hey I don't hear the Grohl similarity but that's cool if others do! I think I found a work around for that error, I just need to duplicate every track, copy the contents over and delete the old tracks. Seems to be working so far. Thanks for digging it Smokey! 	Good Ears Pretty sharp, I did pick the acoustic, and the lead was finger tips a la Knopfler. Yeah, that error is a strange one. The weirdest thing is the contamination carries over to earlier saved versions of the song, even before the error occurred. Check out my latest song called Run With Me

	Nice Pete I'm sorry to hear about your CS problem and hope it doesn't come back. I checked the link smokey provided but no joy. It seems to happen most when adding stuff while the rest of the tune is looping, which is exactly what I was doing yesterday, but somehow avoided it. In any case, this one sounds good, vox and lead. Hey Ed, glad you had a chance to hear this. I was sort of addicted to the sound of this one when listening with ear buds.

I'm finally getting interested and spending a bit of time in working out the engineering side of things. So much so I just went and got Logic Pro (great deal on it at the app store if anyone is so inclined). It's a learning curve but I'm kind of blown away by the tool. Can't wait to get my first Logic tune out there!
