Get Flash to see this player.

Description
It's another dance tune from the 'Fidlers'! Just in time for Christmas, it's the extremely popular 'Greensleeves' melody which, of course, is the tune of "What Child is This?"

Instruments used:
Generation Bb brass pennywhistle
Kelischek "Susato" Wide-Bore soprano recorder
Mollenhauer "Adri's Dream" alto recorder
Aulos 511B tenor recorder
Aulos 533 bass recorder
Kelischek "Susato" bass Kelhorn
Violin
17.5" viola (both at its normal pitch, and pitch-shifted down an octave to become a cello.)
Cardboard box (for the bodhran)
Sampled harpsichord
Sampled harp

Enjoy!!

Multi-instrumentalist
Quite the renaissance man where music is concerned! Swift's Fidlers are a merry band, it seems. It certainly makes me merry to hear them. Thanks for the d/l.

As you may know
one of my all-time favorite melodies, and you've done a great job with it. I esp like the bodhran ;-) (whatever works, right?) Thanks for the d/l.
I must say, too, that your typography is wonderful.

Having said thanks, I find that your mp3 files are not playing. Noticed it on your last post as well. There must be something wrong with your encoder or ?
Oh well, it is still a pleasant listen.

Thanks...
for the compliments! How do you mean that the MP3s aren't playing? You mean after you download them, or right here on the site?

After I download them, they don't show up as regular mp3s; they have the MJ number but not followed by the .mp3 suffix, and this one is 5.9MB. If I click to play it, it doesn't. When you save a file to be uploded, do you have .mp3 at the end?

Greensleeves
A jaunty rendition of a lovely old tune! I like the different tones the various instruments bring to the piece. Much enjoyed.
