I love this style and the feel , very nice ...its been a while since I wrote a song .it must be feel good to sit and write a song with such nice feel and idea ,this is a very nice song and it has a genuine feel for it ... I hope you will rerecord it again but you know what ? the decent sound and feel made it perfect as is ..thanks a lot for sharing !

Lucky man he is... Such a tender voice singing such a beautiful melody in such a heartfelt way can't possibly make "a bad love song". That's strictly impossible.

Besides it being such a beautiful perormance and composition, this kind of recording is to my mind the ones that touches me most because of Live, Life and Presence. Of course it could be arranged and produced with an army of pro musicians, but would that render a more pleasant listening experience? I'm not convinced of that. I personally don't need it anyway. I think this is one of the most perfect songs I ever heard.

I wasn't planning to go up on "what I mean" so it really did just "come out", as a lot of the song did. I try to feel the music and emotion rather than plan any effect. In fact, as a songwriting practice, I'm meant to be more deliberate, so I guess I failed that portion! It'll be tricky to direct myself more, but retain the honesty. I think as long as the direction is there to enhance, not force, emotion, it will be fine.

	Real good tune idea... 1st take huuuuum hook up with someone tighten this up and you could have a great song here, just keep it simple your voice is really good nice style... Short sweet. Nuanced vocals that has layers of soul, joy and a bit of haunting something. Hard to pinpoint but only felt somehow.
Sorry. A bit wordy. Another way to say I love this alot. I could hear strings and brushes on snares and cymbals. A cool bass. But mostly I could hear you doing what you love.

you've been
listening to Swell Season, haven't you? Really nice vibrato on your voice. In terms of composition, I thin you might want to mess with the way your communicate your lyrics, because right now, you seem to be emphasizing some of the more unremarkable phrases in the song (example: the way you sing and accentuate the phrase "I'm not perfect" detracts from the conversational style of your singing). Just a little food for thought, as this is really very good.
