Thanks Dave! The sound I think you are referring to is actually just a highly modified Garageband dance floor patterns. It's edited to the "digital basic", "Crushed bells" setting with a ton of effects thrown in. Yesterday was a real eye opener for me in terms of what Garageband really can do.
