Song I made for fun while I was home for winter break. It's my attempt at dubstep, since it seems to be the new "thing." Overall, it was kinda an experiment for me.

Thanks for listening, glad you enjoyed it! I did things slightly different for different vox sections in the song. Usually I would tweak certain settings til I was happy with them. Usually I'd mess around with autotune, timing correction, flanger, chorus, reverb, echo, pitch, slicing and placing by hand, etc. Glad you even like the experimental spooky ending. I had fun with the eerie parts, I was just worried how it might go over with others in the end. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!

	Lol dubstep is an electronic style of music that has actually been around since the 90s but has recently become popular. It typically consists of strange sound effects and low dirty basses. It's usually around 140bpm but emphasized every other beat, giving it more of a 70bpm feel. Check out my latest song called The Way

	very catchy although I wouldn't quite call it dubstep. It has a few elements that generally appear in a dubstep song (the modulated bass, for example), but those elements aren't prominent in the song's composition. There isn't really a drop. That said, this is an interesting fusion piece, and a good song. Check out my latest song called Canto II: A Rough Beast (To Stave Off The Rot)

	Where's the wobwobwob bass? I thought dubstep meant a distorted bass that goes wobwobwob.... Anyway, your voice is lovely as always. The sonic experiments halfway are pretty cool. Lots of stuff
that I have no idea how to do here - certainly pretty adventurous, and I do believe you've pulled it off - nearly. It has a Kate Bush feel to the vocals.

The area that I hear most room for improvement is in the mix/master section - a little more crispness in the overall mix and perhaps a balance that brings your voice out a little more. The bass is pretty lost, but maybe that's the sound you were after?

I reckon you could have gone for a leaner sound - ie less tracks - and let the instruments fill their own spaces rather than go for a wall of sound approach.

Basic idea is great, and you have a terrific voice - lots of brownie points for trying something new. Would love to hear a new mix of this.

I think this is great. You ventured into a new idea and succeeded.

Not having heard your natural voice, and not being totally familiar with the genre, my impression is that maybe you doctored your voice TOO much, even by the standards of this genre, which is not to say that doctoring it this much can't be done artfully, because I've seen that done. I just think in this case, even though I see that the voice needs to sound ghostly and "evaporate", it's still missing something...

My overall impression is that you know what you're doing musically and I can't wait to hear your other stuff!

	dubby I like that corkscrew sound you get on the percussion. The dubstep influence is very apparent. I've been listening to quite a lot recently. Have you heard james blake? He mixes extremely ambient vocal with dubstep styling. This is cool. Check out my latest song called Trailed in the Mud
