Description
This is a re-do of my song "Tonight's The Night," inspired by the Showtime TV show "Dexter." Originally, I had composed and recorded the song entirely in Garageband for iPad, including using software instruments to create the organ and bass lines. For this version, I imported the original mix into Garageband 11 for Mac and did some effecting, EQing, and expanded the form to include a new guitar solo, not a part of the original song. I also replaced the stock drum loops with a part I wrote.

Remarkable what you can do with an iPad. There's a bit on this that reminds me of the opening of Deadwood, in a good way. The production is impressive too.
