Description:
My very first composition using Garageband. I decided to compose a song for all the brave men and women who sacraficed their lives for our country.

Articulation &mdash 02/13/05 - 09:17:28 PM
This piece reveals the drawbacks of a synthetic orchestra.
What's missing is articulation, phrasing and emotion that
can only be pulled off by live players. I would like to hear
this performed by a live orchestra. A very moving tribute.
Good job for someone playing with a 'toy piano.' Glad
your mom bought it for you! And thanks for posting this.

good for GB &mdash 02/16/05 - 09:40:19 AM
I'm impressed by the sound. What version are you using?
You have JamPack instruments for the brass or are they
modified from the included instruments?

Lovely. It reminds me a bit of songs by the 1st Brigade
Band (they do Civil War-era music) but with more dignity.

Seems like you have a very long quiet section at the end,
though.

Thanks for the feedback &mdash 02/17/05 - 12:23:52 PM
I was using Jam Pack 4: Symphony Orchestra. It was my first time using garageband so I didn't know how to get rid of that long nothingness at the end. But now I do so maybe i'll go back and fix that. I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate the feedback.
