Description
This song sat on a shelf nearly completed for years. My friend Billy finally grabbed it and did some response backing vocals on the end. I then reworked the drums (less crashes, and no tamborine). Then i re-mixed it and mastered it. Finally finished!
Credits:
Richard Anderson - Lyrics
Don Buck - Electric guitars, and originator of the progression
Matt Sturgess - Bass guitar
Billy Playle - response harmonies at end of song
Fred E. Jam - Author melody, all other vocals (lead and backing), choir, synth, drums, mix/master, arrangement

Lyrics
It's better to say nothing, and to get it right
It's better to be silent, than to start a fight
I don't want to be misunderstood, by my good intentions
It's better to be careful, and forget to write
Chorus
I'm not so ignorant
I can admit when I'm wrong
I'm not too blind
To see what's going on
(solo) Sometimes you just gotta think, and not put your heart on the line
It's better not to question, what is going on
Sometimes it's less stressful, to just let things roll
It's better to be peaceful, and to dream it's right
It's better to acquire taste for the good things in life
Chorus
Repeat vesrses 1 & 2

Wow! Fred this is outstanding! I love your vocals! You MUST sing more. Excellent song! Great contributions from everybody! The production and mix are nothing short of pro! Now where did that "Woke Up This Morning Thread" go?
