Pollyanna
Lovely bass line really keeps this moving forward.
Cool melody and harmony ideas. Excellent theme and variation piece: ever evolving structure and arrangement keeps you guessing. Cool track!

Pollyanna?
You must love her a lot, and she won't be crying, except for joy maybe. This has a poly-load of good things going on: polyphonic without being cacophonic. If it were a film score it would be a band of brothers marching through whatever setting being joined by ones and twos of like-minded souls toward some common goal. Well, in my feeble mind anyway ;-)

Love of
A kind of cheesy choice of sounds, it has a real early Casio type of vibe going on in it from the keys, to the strings and the sampled guitar. Don't take that the wrong way, it just is very retro. I love the submarining synths at about 1:39, very trippy.

Some really nice changes here.
A parade of different sounds. Love the way these instruments work together. There's kind of subtle and alluring dissonance that grabs onto you. Luvit!

Quite a meltingpot of style here Bill.
Only thing I think I'd do if I were you would be to compress the bass just a little. Seemed like the volumes were coming and going just a little. Otherwise I really like this!

Love
the happy, joyful brass melody in this. Excellent Bill. Particularly when it was bold as brass just after the light piano .. 0:42-1:02 that just made it for me.. really wanted a return a bit sooner in the arrangement.. it returned on guitar/harp & plucked strings? I wanted the brass.. did I mention that before?!! ;o)

Wasn't that Oh, Susannah... and Pollyanna the girl who fell for anything?
been there done that - time to grow up and stop believing in 'brushfire' fairy tales - but DAMN ! Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner - makes you want to indulge in the willing suspension of disbelief : )
