something for the fun of it......it will make sense in due time.

this song was actually done last summer. even before i finished recording the music i knew Alannah would be the perfect vocalist for this. so i sent her the music and let her do her thing. man can the gal belt it out! She's probably forgotten all about this one by now. :-)

i finally got around to working on the mix today and so it goes.

MacJams City Hero!
Really great intro! Way cool! Nice straight ahead classic, with dreamy floating backing vocals falling like whistling torpedoes from every angle.

I was listening in Bose headphones and I thought Alannah's vocals were kind of back in the mix or lacking the same gtr edge, as was the snare, but those headphones dampen highs, so it could be them. The cutting wail of those opening dueling guitars make take too long to get back into the fray (1:37), and when they do, they don't seem as loud or energetic. But by 1:58, they reach that level again.

Great ending. Fun collab. Thanks for extending the myth!
