Description
This is a birthday song I wrote for a friend to give to his wife a few years ago. I thought it might be nice to revive it and color it up some, so I sent a track with just vocal and guitar to Paul Page who laid down some very nice piano, strings and flute for it. My good friend, Jack (davisamerica) offered to help me put it together, so he got with Neil Porter (Jiguma) for a bass track, and Scofugate (Scott Fugate) for drums. This talented pair has turned several of my songs into real gems, and I can’t thank them enough for their generous contributions. And then it seemed like rich soil to plant some nice harmony, so I looked up Roxylee, who also has added her angelic voice to so many of my songs.
I’ve said it before: MacJams is a songwriter’s paradise. I’ve just been amazed at how the artists here can turn a mediocre song into a work of art. I almost feel guilty, perhaps even unworthy. I’m a songwriter on steroids. Is this legal?
And again, thanks to THE davisamerica for his hard work and incredible mixing. Jack and I go waaay back, and I pray we go waaay forward as well.

And this song is such a sweet love song... You guys have such amazing musical talent! I love being a part of this process, of hearing the builds and getting to add some harmony. it's always easy to sing with you, Terry. Jack is the mixer magic man.
