Description
Hello Macjammers! It seems that I only ever have tunes to post around February Album Writing Month! Here's my first tune. I'll probably cut a verse out and add an instrumental bridge but can't do that now - I've got more songs to write.

How this all began
Is hard to understand knowing how it ends.
What was supposed to be
is not making sense to me so I just pretend
when did the river change its course?
when did the shadows disappear?
where am I supposed to go from here?
Now that the magic's gone
I don't know where I belong
There's still fruit on the vine
and soon it will make a bitter wine
Nothing seems to matter much
now that I'm so out of touch
it seems like day is night
and up is down and left is right
How is there rain without a cloud?
How are the seasons out of place?
There's nothing left to be erased
Now that the magic's done
There's no telling who has won
I'm stranded in the woods
And I'd chop these trees down if I could
Now that the laughing's died
I'm no longer occupied
first time to second guess
where to start to clear this mess

from an album you have to write in one month? If you can keep it up it will be an amazing album. This sounds very good to my old ears for something written under pressure. Rock on man, and good luck with the challenge.
