Description
Taking a break from doing "Just Loops" I wanted to get feedback on this little tune.

I am developing a phonics DVD for children and this is one of the songs on the DVD.

I want to know if it sounds "fun" and "lively" for kids (and any comments for improvement and/or praise).

Enjoy

Make up your mind
whether you're doing a dance tune or something that will
serve as a backdrop for information you're trying to
present. If the latter, you might want to pull back on the
drums. Otherwise, it seemed fairly credible.

Make up your mind
Thanks for the comment. I will be putting a voice over this which will go
along with the words that will appear on the screen.
So you are saying the drums are to much and bring them down?---

This one is...
...is a little... "punchy". I think I like this one better than
the second version. See my comments on the other one.

Cowbells...

This one is...
Can't have enough cowbells :)
Seriously, I'll try some where the bongos
are and see how that sounds.

Thanks for the comments. I responded to your other comment.---

It does have bounce
I think kids' would like this, although it has almost a video
game sound to it...of course, that very well may be your
intent. The rhythm section needs some tweeking as it
somewhat overpowers and makes the song overall
incohesive. Like the conga feel...but the drums
themselves...just for the heck of it, try a different loop?

Fun bouncy song though.

I brought the 'drums' down in the remix version (Same title with 'remix'
added). Take a listen to that one and see if the drums fit better.

Thank you for your comments.---

Sesame Street reborn
The melody has that sing-song quality, but as Alan remarked: the drums is too upfront. Also, the drums are not bouncy enough for a children's song. How about alternating bass-hihat-snare-hihat in a 1&2& rhythm? Lose the four-to-the-floor bass.

With some change like that it's a fun little ditty.

I started messing around with the drums after reading your comment. What a
difference!!!! Thanks for the suggestion.
