up in smoke . Would that one could get inside your head, Victor. +1 on can't recall a piano piece from you. A cello or other low end part would compliment this, as well. I really enjoyed this, pal. . - Harold Check out my latest song called Ascent of a Tree (w Mike_D & FEEL)

grass victor....i already rolled one up earlier. reminds me of all those classical english composers of the 20th century ....bax...delius, vaughan williams....that lot. why no woodwind over the top? you have something light and airy coming over the top around 4.20...that really brings it on. nostalgic, atmospheric.....raindrops down the window-pane. enjoyed. shame you faded out on the disonant chord progressions so quickly.....i liked them too. one thing and another Glad the piano pleases people. I have one piano piece in my catalogue; will add more. Cello, woodwind: the idea here was really to make something with only piano. Fade out: this piece is loop-based. Some patterns are just looping in Logic, but others are dragged through loopers such as Augustus Loop, which gradually fade out. So any offending dissonance gradually disappears, and something else takes its place. In the end I used just let the loops naturally fade, and then used a Logic fade on top of it. In a way, the dissonances at the end are a failed attempt to morph the tonality by replacing one loop by another. Oh well. The result is cool anyway, I think. Days of grass Lovely lightness over the top of some darker chords. Interesting last minute or so as the prettiness goes in favour of something more harsh. Much enjoyed. Check out my latest song called Coming Home (MJCC2013)

Days of grass Very peaceful ...I think your play with loops is quite successful ... enough differences to make this an interesting piece ... do like the chord stabs toward the end. Enjoyed this very much. SG Check out my latest song called Coulda Shoulda

Yes I could see some other instruments with this. Woodwinds or strings. Inspires painting, I think, and that is without the smoke. It's a drug in itself... Puts ya in a trance as ya listen. Very cool Vic! Check out my latest song called Under The Weather

Well blow me down I had no idea that you knew how to play the piano. I knew that you are proficient on strings and winds. The diminished sounding chords and runs make this very intriguing. I can honestly say that you have a very unique approach to the keys. No grass was needed. Check out my latest song called The Trader (Curtain Call- with Loob and egodays)

Stained glass... ...church bells...light shimmering through clouds...wind chimes...Very impressionistic. Those opening low notes on the piano are very cool, Vic. You keep them up kind of like a ground bass. It does go on for quite a while, though. I wonder if you'd consider changing the tonal center a couple of minutes in. You can keep the same general pattern, but the piece could really get a LIFT from a change in the harmonic center. Maybe a melody peeks out somewhere, too. Don't know. As a pianist, those sorts of things just jump out in my mind. Maybe they're helpful comments. If not, just disregard. Check out my latest song called Eighty

I have this dreamscape... ...in my head, listening to this, of a big winding Victorian house, and there are music boxes and wind chimes in every room and as I walk through it, different melodies and harmonies arise, some dissonant for a moment, but always with a sense that it's going somewhere, or I am, even though it also seems to revolve eternally without resolving...
