Description
This New Whimsical 4~minute piano version is derived from one of my folk favorite duos . . . Simon & Garfunkel . . .
"sitting on a sofa on a sunday afternoon ~
going to the candidate's debate" . . .
But should there not be a category for Spunk ?
It includes a little Crazy~Quilt fabric woven into the coo coo ca~choo . . . Bless You . . . thank you . . . you're welcome . . .
I also do a vocal version of this one . . .
One tale too being . . . I was bushed, and my damper pedals were packed away in the van from the weekend gigs . . . so I did this one with no damper pedal ~ and so it is far different than my legato songs . . . and once while doing a "dualing pianos" thing ~ someone walked up and said "try using the damper less often".
Not using the damper certainly does prompt an altogether new playing style,
although I usually prefer the nice sustained resonance and overtones from the strings. Not using the damper certainly does prompt an altogether new playing style, although I usually prefer the nice sustained resonance and overtones from the strings . . . not to mention the great natural echo harmonics obtained from the older middle sostenuto pedals ~ that is when they are constructed to raise the lower dampers when depressed.
Right hand crosses over left more than visa versa in this one.
Recording volume is lower on this one ~ to prevent distortion.

Very nice version ... I have always loved this tune. You sometimes remind me of Keith Jarrett in your playing. I like at around 3:27 how you stop and then take us out with that very interesting ending. Well done!!
Cheers
