I don't know how to classify this ...it really is an indulgence...I set myself little challenges in life and this was one...and it was also a part of my trying to beat the "observed effect",you know the one when someone walks into the room where you are playing away quite magnificently (?) and suddenly you develoop ten more fingers ,twice the size of sausages and the fret/key/stops suddenly become all the same, frightening !.....you guys who are regular performers won't have this anymore probably but that is what I find....in order to beat this syndrome which I notice is equalled by switching on a microphone I tried to up the ante by turning a vid cam on myself and having it play back at the same time .....Hellfire it works too...first time I saw my ugly mug staring back at me I nearly gave up the Ackordeen before I had even started ...and some of you have braved the resulting footage .... still with me dear reader and potential listener, sorry if this is a ramble......so anyhoo,I thought I would set me another little challenge, which I believe is where we came in. That challenge was to play a tune ,improvisationally based on absolutely no knowledge of how it is played ....just by knowing the tune from hearing it about....and not to stop and stutter and start but to try and keep a flow going so that you get something vaguely listenable to, that is ,in my own sort of way a bit musical .....it occurs to me that I could actually have precis'd this by saying ...this is me
dicking around again ...I will post the footage when I have spliced the soundtrack on to it ...shouldn't take more than a coupla days.....Thanks if you are still here and still want to hear....I present "Knifeless Mack"....which is a clue as to what the tune should be.......and as the B Brecht original was born in 1928 that makes it 84 so it must be in some sort of public domain as a basic tune and this is in no way a cover....see I read the forums as well....

I know this tune! This is pretty cool ... has a boogie woogie tango feel to it. I think you're successful in making it flow ... the keys are clipping here and there but you get that live in the room feel. I think it's great that you are challenging yourself and I'm impressed with your keyboard playing.
Very entertaining with my lunch ... woah! ...5:08 ... nice expressive chromatic roll down the keys!
Cheers

Did you do the illustration? Very funny!
