Description
I just posted a recording here of a jam we did about a month ago. Here's a version of a song we wrote together that I hope we will get to play live sometime. It is more refined than the 'Jam' song, and was really starting to come together. It was the only recording I have of the song where every member of my imaginary band showed up.....

This song is Exhibit B, of the two songs I'm going to link to facebook in order to try to get everyone together again, because I think we were on to something.

If you want to read my story where I'm whining about not having a band you can go read it in the previous song I posted.

Musicians: Cain Flores - Vocals, Brian Bondietti - Guitar, Steven Dezort - Guitar, Alex Schoff - Percussion, Stefan Flores - Drums, David Banuelos - Bass,

Love the Liveness and Feel
Just a fine example of musicians being themselves hanging on to a groove and just jamming. Vox is real cool..real cool. Love the drummer kicking it left for real. Get down my friends. Bass magic. Guitar licks jam baby! Vox felt and delivered soulfully yeah! Most natural musicianship on display and I love it!*****

Okay, another one.
Brian, this is a real good one. It's also reminding me of something, but I can't put my finger on it, so that'll bug me all night. I really like the singing...

Once again, the recording has that liveness from the H2. On my set-up, which may not be typical, I wish that I could sometimes push the drums or the cymbals back just a bit and bring that vocal up. The perils of live recording...

Still, you've got a neat group of people to play with here...

I'm always worried that I stole a riff from somewhere else and I don't know it, so I hope you don't figure it out. Them's the breaks with live recording you have to take what you can get. It sounds good enough for what it was. Who knows maybe I'll be motivated to make studio version.

who, what, where
man this reminds me so much of somebody but I can't think of it at all. like when you taste something and you think yeah that's _______ sure but you can't remember the name. anyway i like the tune a lot. especially the groove and the vocals. every once in a while i'll hear something and wish for a band again and this does that. although then i remember the drama and i'm thankful i'm doing things alone :)

This is cool because it's live and real. I like your voice and funky rhythm guitar. and you guys, once warmed up, really jam it out nice. I like the feeling of white funk it has. This has a grooving' bass line and when the drummer starts doing that off beat bell thing with his cymbal ... yeah! ... nice lead break. This would be a good one to polish.

All good!
Had to chase this up after the last taste. Yep, working very nicely. Like the vocal work hiding away in there and again the bass comes through real solid. Picked up an early Traffic vibe. All good! Thanks, Peter.

I'm from Montana. My grandparents on my mother's side were prolific musicians, but I suspect everyone needed something to do in the early 1900's before TV. I inherited their natural genetic talent, but was too distracted by video games and MTV to mak... [see more]
