Description
Tribal drum solo played live on a Roland HD-1 using the african drumset preset in GB. The versatility of the HD-1 as a percussion midi controller is awesome. All the pads turn into an instrument and the hi hat has two sounds. I played the drums to a set of shakers as a click track. Then set the sounds in the edit window. Moved it to Logic for the mastering process. Once the multitrack midi file is sounding good; I can then work on the two track sound and come up with a mix that has the room sound I like. It's exciting to me to hear the possibilities of sound.

Drums in space
Drums in space is right. Very good use of time and space here, Peter. Wasn't sure about listening to a drum solo but I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks, Peter.
