Description:
I think this is a fun song. To me at least it feels like an adventures clown or something.

Excellent production and arrangement here. I am
strangely reminded of, oddly enough, one of the musical
themes associated with Godzilla in parts of the melody
here.

write this for brass band! &mdash 02/19/05 - 08:53:10 AM
Very nice choice of sounds, and good orchestration!

The opening theme grabbed me right from the start; the
build-up was good, and the solo trumpet sound was well
done.

Then the musical material repeated, and repeated.....I kept
hoping it would expand into another musical idea, with
more developed melody and accompanying chords.

You have a very good grasp of orchestration; how the
instruments combine together to create a pleasing sound.

I would REALLY like to see this piece expanded more, and
if possible, transcribed for brass band & percussion to
perform! I know of such an organization in Tucson which
would probably play this, if it were expanded and
developed (and, obviously written out note for note).

I do sincerely hope that you work more on this piece. It
has a lot of potential.

ditto Cameron's remarks. Really engaging opening that caught my attention...and then... well, you've got to go somewhere with it. Your general orchestral sound is really well-conceived. Hope you will work on this because it has such wonderful potential to be really fun. I was reminded of Stravinsky's "Histoire de Soldat" is some ways--maybe the orchestration. Keep working on this.
