scratch all below -- loaded earlier version. didn't like sound of last one on truck stereo -- too busy lol ;)
ahhh.... it's spring, no more SAD -- time for some fun, mainly the good ol' dimm witness you know and love ;) and here we go --
oh around a couple months ago there was a topic in the forum here titled Paul McCartney and Diana Krall. well it may have been two topics I forget. anyway as I tripped around at work this forum title kept popping round my head -- so I started singing it Diana Krall Space, Paul Mc Artery. I kept doing that off and on for weeks, guess I'm touched with a bit of OCD or ADD or just touched period, and then a week or so ago I wrote dyin to live in the shower.... it needed more lyrics so I just added the diana krall space paul mc artery part.
I recorded it straight away but the levels on everything were off. we've had a couple rainy days so work has been slow so I pulled the mix back up. I HATE revisting mixes, but I did. and I brought up this and that, and got some of it to work, but not all of it. I ended up with three separate mixes each I thought good in their own way, but each with weaknesses. then I listened in my truck with my daughter and I said "it needs drums!"
sooo.... tonight I added the big bass and trippy echoy snare thing or whatever it is. and I still couldn't get mix 1 or mix 2 or whatever right so I just slid all 3 mixes into separate tracks in logic express and used the volume and pan deals to somehow piece this thing together -- it's like frankenstein man. it's as right as it'll ever be I'm done with this one! lol
