I did this song a year ago.
I think the lyrics of this song are pretty straightforward. I chose the synth because it reminded me of the music for the game endings of old Nintendo and Game Boy games, when the hero comes home.
I also imported some Americana vocal harmonies for similar reasons.

Warm vocal - I like the tone of your voice. Interesting sound in the backing. Not familiar with the Nintendo games music and not entirely convinced it's the best sound for this very beautiful song, but I did enjoy the performance. Quality all the way.
